Ever since I moved from Iran to the United States, well back in 2011, I have been very passionate about baking Persian confectioneries and mastering this art. It always gives me a great deal of joy to learn new recipes and customize them with my own ideas and personal taste. With a long Persian heritage and several years of experience, I am happy to present you high quality home-made Persian confectioneries. Maz Bakery’s mission is to introduce great traditional and modern Persian recipes to the American community which is currently lacking in the US market. I am often asked the question of “What is unique about Persian baking”? I can think of several unique properties of Persian confectioneries that makes them different. Persian cookies and deserts have a pleasant aroma because they are made with sweet-smelling spices such as Cardamom, Saffron, Cinnamon, Dried Rose Petals, and natural extracts such as Rosewater and Orange Blossom. Persian confectioneries are the best companions of your daily cup of tea or coffee, or can serve your afternoon snack craving. Some common ingredients in our products are healthy nuts such as Almonds, Walnuts, and Pistachios, as well as Coconut, and Raisins.
